What does an independent firm mean?

Sand Run Wealth Management is independently owned and is not owned or controlled by a bank, broker-dealer, or insurance company. That independence keeps the focus on understanding clients and helping them make informed decisions.

Where are my accounts actually held?

Directly at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., an independent third-party custodian. Sand Run Wealth Management manages the investments and provides the advice, and clients access their accounts through Schwab's platform.

What happens on the first call?

It is a no-pressure conversation about where you are, what you are working toward, and whether the firm is the right fit. Recommendations come later, and they start with understanding your goals, priorities, resources, and concerns.

How are fees structured?

Do you meet in person or virtually?

Both. The firm is based in the Akron, Ohio area and meets with clients in person and virtually.
